NEWPORT BEACH, CA (July 23, 2012) – Hayes Martin Associates, Inc., the award-winning advertising, marketing and public relations firm who was selected by HomeAid Orange County to develop the theme for Project Playhouse 2012, recently kicked-off the campaign for this signature fundraiser. Now celebrating its 21st anniversary, Project Playhouse is a much-loved Orange County tradition and this year’s theme, Doorways for Hope, is an integral part of HomeAid’s overall message to inspire, create change and further its mission to provide shelter for the transitionally homeless.

“The team at Hayes Martin is so proud to be working with HomeAid on such a meaningful and important endeavor; the fact that we were hired to create the campaign theme for Project Playhouse and collaborate with such an influential non-profit organization has been a true privilege,” stated Sandra Keedy, president and creative director of Hayes Martin Associates, Inc. “The imagery and message of Doorways for Hope was designed to show that HomeAid is literally building doorways for Orange County’s homeless, while also sending the powerful, uplifting message that this organization continues to build a more hopeful future for men, women and children who urgently need our help.”

“Preparations are well underway for Project Playhouse 2012 in anticipation of its debut September 1st at South Coast Plaza, the first time ever that the Playhouse Village will be on exhibit at this prestigious venue. These magical, whimsical playhouses will be open during the month of September to the general public and will be displayed in conjunction with The Festival of Children, another cherished, family-oriented event that supports a diversity of children’s charities. The festivities for Project Playhouse culminate in the gala on Friday, October 5th at the Balboa Bay Club, an evening of dining, dancing, live auction and entertainment. Keep in mind that space is limited for this very worthy social occasion and now is a great time to reserve tickets online at projectplayhouse.org,” Keedy added.
